Description:
As the fintech industry continues to transform the financial landscape, Zimpler is leading the charge by delivering innovative solutions that empower businesses and individuals alike. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Legal Counsel to join our legal team.
Based in either Stockholm or Gothenburg, you will work with a wide range of legal questions with emphasis on commercial agreements, payment services and data privacy.
You will report to our Head of Legal Petra and you will work closely with her and our senior legal counsel Gabriella. The legal team supports the whole business and handles all types of legal questions that arise in the business. Zimpler is a payment institution licensed by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
This is what you will do
Monitor the legislative landscape relevant to Zimpler’s business and analyze upcoming legislation as well as support the business in the implementation of such legislation, e.g., new product development or establishing internal rules.
Provide day-to-day legal guidance and support to all functions within the business on various areas of law, but with emphasis on payment services and data protection including writing legal assessments, participating in different internal forums representing legal and providing your colleagues with guidance and support.
Negotiate various types of customer and supplier agreements including outsourcing arrangements and ICT third party provider arrangements.
Handle a wide range of data privacy matters.
Handle corporate governance matters.
Support in litigation processes and submissions to competent authorities.

You have a Masters of Laws degree (juristexamen).
You have a curious mindset with a passion for learning and growth.
