POSITION SUMMARY
The Legal Fellow is a member of MultiCare’s in-house corporate legal department and collaborates with internal clients, external counsel, business partners, and various state and federal agencies to achieve MultiCare’s organizational goals. The duration of the Fellowship is two years.
Following a comprehensive orientation to the health system, the Legal Fellow will have the opportunity to observe and assist MultiCare business leaders, in-house and external counsel on transactional and regulatory matters. The Legal Fellow will have other opportunities to observe and assist with matters as they become available and depending on the Legal Fellow’s interest. We are committed to working with the selected Legal Fellow to tailor the Fellowship to include as many areas of their personal interest as possible.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduating with a JD or LLM from an accredited U.S. law school in June 2023 and planning to take the Washington State Bar exam in July 2023
- Ties to the Pacific Northwest, preferred
- Passage of Washington State Bar exam required before start date unless otherwise agreed by Legal Services
