YOUR IMPACT

Goldman Sachs Asset Management ("GSAM") is looking for an experienced attorney with alternatives asset management experience to join a small team of attorneys, within the wider EMEA Asset Management Legal team, responsible for alternative investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, infra-debt funds, distressed debt funds, corporate credits funds, fund of funds, etc..
The team’s primary responsibilities will include legal work related to fund formation, asset raising, transactional work, regulatory projects and related matters. The team provides ongoing support with respect to other advisory and asset management issues as well.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good team player, dynamic and capable of working proactively, leading and driving initiative on a wide range of issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • UK, US or EU (or similar) qualified
  • At least 5 years post qualification experience; previous in-house experience (including on secondment) would be helpful
