JOB DESCRIPTION
The Ford Agency is looking for an experienced Legal HR Coordinator for one of DC’s top law firms. The Legal Coordinator plays a crucial role in attorney recruiting and retention efforts and ensures that new attorneys transition seamlessly into the firm. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and superb organization skills. If you have at least one year of administrative support experience in a professional services firm and have an interest in HR and recruiting, this could be the role for you!
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate orientations for new associates, lateral, and staff attorneys
- Handle pre-employment requirements and new hire forms
- Serve as the liaison between new attorneys and internal departments
- Support attorney evaluation processes
- Provide all-around support to the team
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ year of administrative experience in recruiting or professional development
- Experience in a law firm or other professional services firm strongly preferred
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and pivot between tasks smoothly
- Proficient in MS Office
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
