It originated in response to providing world class services and solutions to the society at large and offering an alternative that is satisfactory in areas of our specialty. It has carried out service rendering duties in various states of Nigeria and within the ever bustling business environment of Lagos.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 4-5 years of post-call experience as a Legal Advisor and HR Manager*
- A lawyer with years of Sales experience and managing Sales team*
- Ability to drive deals and negotiate*
- LLB, BL degree with little Human Resource/Administrative Background
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures, with emphasis on fiscal and finance matters, commercial issues, labour related matters, interpretation of Nigerian legislation and contractual obligations
- Prior experience in providing a company with legal guidance in transactions with third parties
- Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
- Has experience setting goals and meeting targets.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and manage wills, trusts, estates, contracts and deeds.
- Prepare pleadings, notices and make appearances in court.
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues.
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
- Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.
- Monitor legal risk in documentation and giving guidance on the acceptable assumption of risk.
- Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed.
- Attend court sessions and liaise with external counsel with respect to litigation, arbitration, tax appeals and any other dispute resolution proceeding
