JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ford Agency is looking for an experienced Legal HR Specialist for one of DC’s top law firms. The Specialist plays an integral role in onboarding, performance evaluations, status changes, and offboarding processes for the firm. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and superb organization skills. If you have at least four years of legal HR experience, this could be a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate orientations for attorneys, associates, and lateral attorneys
  • Support attorney evaluation processes, compensation and bonus processes
  • Handle attorney status changes including schedule changes, relocations, and transfers
  • Support attorney departures
  • Provide all-around support to the team

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years of legal recruiting, professional development, or legal HR experience in a law firm environment
  • Ability to work with all levels of firm personnel and juggle competing priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office with professional verbal and written communication skills
