As a Legal Intern, you’ll be responsible for various legal matters of VONQ! You’ll assist and work closely together with our Legal Counsel and be the legal reference point for others at the company. Great communication and people skills are, therefore, a must!

YOUR BACKGROUND:
- We are a multinational company and people from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds are welcome!
- You are a qualified lawyer from outside the Netherlands looking for a way to enter the Dutch legal market or a final or third-year European law student (preferably international and European law);
- Interested in privacy and IT European and (inter)national laws;
- Communicative and fluent in English. Dutch and German are highly appreciated;
- High-Energy, proactive, likes a challenge, flexible to pick up new topics, can work independently, good organizational skills, and ability to deal with freedom and manage your own time.
Additional Information
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with our Legal Counsel in addressing ad hoc legal questions and issues as they arise;
- Checking and answering the legal inbox;
- Reviewing and approving contracts (incl. data processing agreements) – A Good understanding and knowledge of the GDPR is therefore a bonus!
- Contact with external lawyers regarding many topics (compliance, intellectual property, employment law, litigation any many more topics)
- Explaining laws and legal requirements to other departments and relevant stakeholders
- Gathering information for larger projects t.b.d.
- Updating legal documents (e.g. terms and conditions)
- Helping with HR-related aspects
- Optional: Translations (an understanding of Dutch and/or German would be a bonus but is not required)
