Browan Solicitors, a prestigious British law firm with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Legal Intern to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a professional legal environment and develop their skills across various areas of law.

Responsibilities:
As a Law Firm Intern, your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting solicitors and legal professionals with legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
2. Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
3. Attending client meetings and court proceedings with supervising solicitors when required.
4. Supporting the team in the management of case files, including organizing and maintaining documentation.
5. Performing administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, filing, and scheduling appointments.
6. Participating in internal training sessions and firm-wide events to expand your legal knowledge and network with professionals when required.
7. Maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to the highest ethical standards at all times.

Requirements:
To be considered for this internship, candidates must:
- Be currently enrolled in or have recently completed a law degree (LLB, LLM, or equivalent) from an accredited university.
- Completed the relevant qualification exam (LPC or SQE).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Demonstrate strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, Practical Law).
- Be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

Ideal Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Previous legal internship or work experience in a law firm, court, or other legal organisation.
- Familiarity with the specific areas of law practised by our firm (e.g. Immigration, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defence, Real Estate, Business, etc.).
- Membership of relevant law societies, clubs, or organisations.
