Are you a legal professional with a strong background in compliance? Ethica Resolve CC is looking for a dedicated Legal Officer to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring that our operations, processes, and procedures align with the latest legal standards and internal protocols.
Role Overview:
As the Legal Officer at Ethica Resolve CC, you will be at the forefront of our compliance efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct detailed audits across various aspects of our organization. This includes a thorough examination of our operations, processes, and documentation to ensure they meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll play a key role in identifying potential areas of non-compliance or risk and working closely with our management team to develop strategies to address these issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Audits: Conduct comprehensive audits across the organization to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal protocols.
- Documentation Scrutiny: Examine documentation, procedures, and systems to pinpoint areas of non-compliance or potential risk.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct interviews with employees and stakeholders to gain insights into current compliance practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Report Analysis: Analyze audit findings and create detailed reports outlining compliance gaps and recommended corrective measures.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with management and stakeholders to implement corrective strategies and address any compliance deficiencies.
- Ongoing Guidance: Provide continuous support to ensure the organization remains compliant with all regulations, keeping abreast of changes in laws and industry standards.
- Training Initiatives: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs for staff to ensure ongoing adherence to regulations.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable institution. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in compliance or related fields would be a strong advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a legal and compliance role, with a solid understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Legal Acumen: Ability to effectively represent the company’s interests in legal proceedings, with strong research, writing, and analytical skills to interpret and communicate complex legal issues.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and professionalism in all work products and interactions.
- Independent Work Ethic: Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, able to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ethical Commitment: Dedication to upholding the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
