Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team dealing with children’s safeguarding legal work. We are looking for a solicitor/barrister or equivalent with experience of conducting their own Children Act legal proceedings including advocacy. Applications from those yet to qualify and who currently work in the field of child protection and safeguarding legal work are also encouraged as this is a career graded post leading to eventual qualification as a solicitor.
The successful candidate:-
- Will have a law degree or equivalent
Will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or Filex or someone
seeking to qualify as the same ideally with local
government experience
Will have a good working knowledge of the law and
practice relating to the safeguarding of children
Will have the ability to work independently with limited
supervision and also within a team
Will possess excellent communication skills
