Position Description
- Develop and improve processes for the efficient operation of the Legal Department and its interaction with the Business
- Identify, design, introduce and manage legal tech tools for the Legal Department and / or the cross-functional group-wide cooperation, for example in the fields of contract lifecycle management or legal entity management
- Drive the digitalization of the Legal Department and promote the meaningful utilization of AI
- Manage and support of projects for the Legal Department
- Maintain and update legal templates, develop policies and standard operating procedures
- Support in administrative tasks of the Legal Department, maintain data bases
- Develop, monitor and report on key operational and substantive metrics that will support decision-making, including matter and work product analyses
- Develop and enforce processes and policies to manage outside counsel usage and spend
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, support, service, business development, regulatory, IT, and finance, as well as various business units
- This role does not include Team Managment
Position Requirements
- Master of law desirable
- Fluency in English, German knowledge would be an asset
- Inhouse or consulting experience in legal operations management
- Analytical skills, process-oriented thinking, structured approach, tech affinity
- Competence in communication, collaboration, accountability, problem solving attitude and hands-on mentality
- Prior experience developing playbooks and policies
- Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by gaining the support needed from others while working in a cross-functional role
- Proven track record of collaborating with stakeholders to set objectives and produce meaningful results
