WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE SPECIAL

• Broad Oversight: Subject matter expert on legal matters cross-functionally - no two days will be the same
• Direct Strategic Influence: Your insights and coordination will directly shape the our operations function’s approach to a broad range of tasks across Finance, Legal, and Compliance
• Cross-Functional Improvements: Work directly with Product, Marketing and Engineering, Security and CS leaders to improve processes and ensure compliance
• Scale & Growth: Support the largest Shopify app used by 430k+ merchants globally – and growing
• Represent Judge.me: Responding to merchant queries around our T&Cs

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Champion Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Represent the business with robust knowledge of GDPR, DPA and FTC guidelines, and responding to queries associated with our terms, conditions, and policies
• Drive Operational Excellence: Use your combined experience in operations and legal to coordinate and suggest optimisation opportunities in line with business objectives
• Oversee Operational Project Management: Supporting the CFO to coordinate the work of the Finance and Operations team on a variety of projects
• Ad-hoc Project Management: Support the wider Operations and Finance function by driving initiatives related to process efficiencies, suppliers and systems
• Ops Vendor Management and Procurement: Review, renew and negotiate contract with subscriptions and service providers
