JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Practice Trainee with us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain practical experience across a range of legal practice areas. You will assist with legal research, drafting legal documents, and client communication, while receiving guidance and mentorship to help you develop the skills necessary for a successful legal career.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law / Juris Doctor degree (current law students or recent graduates preferred).
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office suite.
- Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and pleadings.
- Review and summarize legal documents and case files.
- Prepare for client meetings, hearings, and court proceedings.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff as needed.
- Attend training sessions and educational seminars to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
