Description:
SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE
My client are a forward thinking, innovative and friendly law firm with offices across the Thames Valley area.
They are looking for an experienced legal Secretary to work with their busy Litigation Team. The candidate will offer a comprehensive range of assistant duties for the Team, on a full or part time basis. The role is office based, preferably at Newbury, but could also consider Maidenhead candidates.
Duties
The prime role is to assist the team members with the smooth progression of work on behalf of clients to ensure that the firm provides an excellent service to clients.
- photocopying of documents
- preparing bundles for trials
- scheduling
- digital dictation
- drafting letters and documents
- liaising with clients and others
- arranging fixed fee client interviews
- ensuring file notes of all telephone conversations and meetings prepared
- appropriate legal research/drafting
- diary management
- attend any training sessions either internal or external and networking events as and when required
- deal with all work promptly and efficiently and accurately Accountability
- Reporting to lawyers within the Team and accountable
- Additionally, and as with all employees you are ultimately accountable to the Managing Partner for your quality of work and actions to the Partnership as a whole for your work on behalf of the Firm.
