Our Conveyancing Team
Our Conveyancing Team at Fisher Jones Greenwood is going through an exciting period of growth. As a result, we are delighted to have a new opportunity to join us as a Legal Secretary in our Conveyancing Team in Colchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high level support to fee earner(s) – this includes administration, transcription, production of documents, diary management, billing and all other tasks required by the fee earner(s) and department.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to clients – this includes answering calls, responding to emails and meeting clients.
- Communicate effectively with fee earner(s) and colleagues ensuring tasks and messages are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all new prospective clients / business opportunities are processed quickly and efficiently. Building and maintaining knowledge of the department, clients and FJG.
- Adhere to all FJG policies, procedures and requirements – this includes maintaining the client database and following compliance regulations
- Any other required tasks
Experience
- Experience of working within a law firm
- Experience of working with case management system (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- A good level of IT competency, including Microsoft Office Suite Good word processing and audio typing skills, with high standards of accuracy, quality, and timeliness
