We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our talented legal team based in Bamber Bridge, Preston. To be successful, you will already have experience as a legal secretary in a fast paced environment. You will have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office

SKILLS

  • Excellent secretarial skills
  • Audio typing essential
  • Exceptional skills in organisation, administration, diary management, filing and keeping records.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word (in particular use of tracked changes), Excel, and Outlook. PowerPoint would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to deal with a high volume of work and prioritise accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on a range of activities including typing/digital dictation and telephone calls.
  • Preparation and processing of legal documents and land registry applications.
  • Manage, organise, and update electronic and hard copy systems, files, deeds and other documents.
  • Assisting all Solicitors with day-to-day tasks.
  • Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and to connecting departments/groups.
  • Other clerical work such as filing, arranging diaries, keeping records.
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks which may be required from time to time and to assist the Legal Department to serve relevant divisions of the Grou
