We are recruiting to fill the position below:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Undertakes administrative and clerical tasks.
- Ensures smooth running of the firm without interruption to work activities.
- Receives and interacts with guest and ensure quick and prompt responses to inquiries.
- Manages the reception area to receive and attend to visitors,
- Directs guests, clients, and other visitors to the appropriate office,
- Acts as a reliever to the litigation assistant and dispatch rider,
- Monitors the firms’ facilities and ensures proper maintenance of office assets
- Liaises with the vendors and purchases office supplies,
- Keeps inventory of office supplies, stationaries, and diesel,
- Types and corrects word processes by lawyers and ensures alignment,
- Ensures effective telephone communications internally and externally to maintain a professional image,
- Answers phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate
- Assists with proper arrangement of files in the office.
- Receives letters for the Managing Partner,
- Prints and makes photocopies of documents for the lawyers in the firm,
- Assists the litigation manager with the filing of processes and litigations in the court,
- Assists the dispatcher with the delivery of court processes to clients,
- Delivers letters to courier services to be dispatched to clients in different locations,
- Ensures that the office is supplied with newspapers daily,
- Attend to and ensures prompt response to all inquiries,
- Provide administrative support to one or more lawyers
- Produces and files various legal documents such as appeals, motions, or petitions,
- Maintains and updates inventories of contact details,
- Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates should possess OND / HND / B.Sc Degrees with 3+ years relevant work experience.
