Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the civil litigation team.
- Drafting, typing from dictation, and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and organizing appointments.
- Liaising with clients, court officials, and third parties in a professional manner.
- Maintaining and updating case files and records both electronically and in hard copy.
- Preparing court bundles and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Assisting with billing and time recording.
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Proven experience as a legal secretary, preferably in civil litigation.
- Excellent typing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- A professional and client-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology related to civil litigation.
