We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Civil Litigation Legal Secretary to join our reputable law firm in King’s Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our dedicated team of civil litigation solicitors in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.

We specialise in multiple areas of law including Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Family Law, Private Client, Employment Law, Business and Company Law and Agricultural Law.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the civil litigation team.
  • Drafting, typing from dictation, and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
  • Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and organizing appointments.
  • Liaising with clients, court officials, and third parties in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining and updating case files and records both electronically and in hard copy.
  • Preparing court bundles and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Assisting with billing and time recording.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Proven experience as a legal secretary, preferably in civil litigation.
  • Excellent typing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A professional and client-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology related to civil litigation.
