Description:
American Family Insurance is looking for our next Legal Services Paralegal to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support during specific phases of litigation and non-litigation processes under the close supervision of an attorney. You will be instrumental in case preparation, document management, and legal research. Come join our dynamic legal team and help us protect dreams!

LEGAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of tort and contract law, legal procedures, legal terminology, and the judicial system.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Automobile liability insurance defense experience required, preferably in a staff counsel setting.
- Knowledge of using the electronic court filing systems in Wisconsin.
- Experience in ordering medical records and drafting medical chronologies.
- Experience independently drafting dispositive/non-dispositive motions or other pleadings.
- Experience drafting discovery responses.
- Excellent written and verbal skills required.
- Review and manage files in a paperless system.
This is a remote role in Wisconsin. We may ask you for attendance at trials, depositions, mediations, and team and company engagement events.
