APPRENTICESHIP WITHIN A NORTH LONDON LAW PRACTICE

Are you a recent school or college leaver looking for an Apprenticeship opportunity
An opportunity for a person with ambitions of a career in law to develop within an established South West London Law Practice. General duties include making and receiving telephone calls, preparing precise attendance notes, and filing, etc.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • 4-9 grades English and maths GCSE’s
  • Local commute essential
  • Confident with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house systems where training will be given
  • Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
  • Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good client care skills

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Chasing up clients for payments, appointments and invoices.
  • Contacting barristers’ chambers and lodging applications to court.
  • Liaising with clients -updating them of their cases.
  • Diary management
  • Scanning and uploading files
