JOB DESCRIPTION

If you are looking for an environment where you will be able to quickly learn and develop your skill set with career progression opportunities, we have a fantastic opening for legal support assistants within our Family Department in our Conwy office.
You will work with a team of specialists in the Family Department and be part of the Legal Services Team. You will support lawyers within the team assisting them, and the firm, meet their professional obligations and business viability within the changing needs of the firm and the legal market.
As part of our progressive and forward thinking firm, you will provide high level support enabling the lawyers operate at optimum efficiency. The role will include (but not be limited to) preparing letters and corresponding with clients, using DocuSign, checking ledgers to ensure time is recorded appropriately, liaising with and assisting lawyers with invoicing , along with some limited supervised legal tasks. Training will be provided where required.
You will be expected to be organised, with excellent time management skills and be able to use a high degree of self-management and initiative. You’ll need to maintain a professional, efficient, confidential and friendly approach ensuring a quality service to clients is always achieved. A high attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
The role would suit someone who has worked in a busy, professional team orientated environment, previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. You must have a good telephone manner and communication skills, be confident in the use of Microsoft Word and have the ability to work across a range of IT platforms.
Our Conwy office is located close to the castle with convenient on-site free parking.
