Description:
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office is currently seeking a motivated and hard-working individual for the position of Legal Support Specialist in the Labor Relations Unit of our Executive Agencies Section. Executive Agencies represents 80+ clients in cases at the administrative, state, and federal levels and in their transactional matters. This position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquartered location is 30 E. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio.
The successful candidate will perform a variety of clerical, administrative and office support tasks. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform complex administrative & legal support duties for the Unit Coordinator of the Labor Relations Section
Create legal files; generate correspondence; act as lead support personnel in unit.
Manage business functions of section; prepare monthly reports; maintain fiscal; personnel, & travel records; purchase supplies & equipment; & process bills for payment.
Create files, set up & maintain case related matters; answer, screen & route telephone calls; open & distribute mail; acts as receptionist; distribute forms; perform data entry; type letters, labels, index cards, cover letters, etc.; file; & perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 18 months experience in secretarial/administrative professional field.
- Or completion of coursework in secretarial/administrative professional science or closely related field from an accredited career school or community college.
