Description:
OUR AMAZING Immigration Law Firm is hiring English/Spanish Translators
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm / Saturdays: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (EST)
Pay rate: $6.00/hr
JOB SUMMARY
Translators need to be bilingual (Spanish-English) and work by request to translate various documents provided by the clients into English, as USCIS requires all documents to be in English.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Spanish-English bilingual required, and other languages welcome
- World-class customer service skills
- Positive attitude
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and time management
- Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Similar
- At least two years of experience in a similar position and one year working remotely
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Responsibilities:
- Monitor requests for translation via the case management system for client documents
- Translators also receive a request via email when the Firm needs translations for contracts, guidelines or manuals, legal documents, technical documents, letters, etc.
- Follow the editorial guidelines provided by the Firm to centralize their work and help them save time; these instructions can be found in the translator’s channel on Teams.
