Job Title: Leisure Centre Attendant
Location: Great National Hotel Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland
Job Type: Part-time/Full-time
The Great National Hotel Ballina is seeking a friendly and professional Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our leisure centre, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide information about the leisure centre and its facilities
- Ensure the leisure centre is clean, organized, and safe for guests to use
- Monitor the pool and other facilities to ensure guest safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment and changing pool filters
- Provide assistance and instruction to guests using the equipment and facilities
- Maintain accurate records of pool usage, equipment maintenance, and other relevant data
- Enforce leisure centre policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests
- Assist with other tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the leisure centre and hotel
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
