The CDW Partner Specialist position is the first level of support for CDW Account Managers and/or the CDW Category Team. This role executes on partner programs and evangelizes partner offerings in terms of portfolio and solutions to Account Managers. The Specialist will have direct day-to-day contact with the sales force and is also responsible for educating Account Managers on the technologies, programs and resources available to them.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years’ experience in sales or marketing
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers and coworkers
- Strong passion for learning and teaching others
- Demonstrated group presentations skills
- Motivated and self starting
- Ability to think creatively and develop proactive ideas to grow sales
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to focus on certain areas of technology driven by partner focus or company technology objectives
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
- Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology

- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Ability to travel as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in technology sales or marketing
- Relevant industry or partner technical certifications
