Our client is a renowned Investment bank, providing financial solutions globally. With a proven track record within this market, they are looking for a Leveraged Finance Analyst/Associate to join their office in Belgium. In this position, the joiner will have the opportunity to assist the high performing team with the end to end Leveraged Finance deal process. The joiner will have the ability to be part of a leading team within the market and accelerate their learning and development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a leading university or educational institution
  • Knowledge of market, credit, operational, compliance, legal, regulatory, and reputational risks related to transactions in Leveraged Finance is essential
  • Strong modelling ability with solid quantitative skills and attention to details
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively presenting analysis and recommendations to team members and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and driven; ability to work effectively in a collegial, fast moving, demanding, and dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Investment Banking software such as Factset, Dealogic, and Bloomberg

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the origination, execution, and management of Leveraged Finance deals
  • Assisting in the development of leveraged buyouts, refinancings, recapitalizations, and other financing initiatives
  • Creating and evaluating financial models and analyzing potential rating impacts
  • Preparing detailed credit reports and overseeing the internal approval workflow
  • Conducting thorough research on sectors and companies, gathering insights from a variety of sources and designing presentation materials for client meetings
  • Handling post-transaction processes and follow-ups whilst tracking market trends and compiling pricing reports and updates for clients
