Description:
Leveraged Financing Solutions (LevFin) originates and executes debt transactions supporting leverage buy outs financings (LBOs) of private equity funds investing in Europe as well as Italian corporates acquisition needs. LevFin is also responsible for all clients lending-related needs coordinating with the advisory and coverage teams. LevFin is a leading European financing house, with a focus on its core markets represented by Italy, Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe. UniCredit has consistently been the leading bank in both Italian LBO market (#1 in 2023-2013 cumulated league tables) and syndicate loans (#1 in 2023 since 2015), having played a tier one role in the most visible deals closed in the recent years.
A Senior associate / Associate Director of the team has broad exposure towards clients and senior management, while working with lead role on various transactions such as LBOs, acquisition financings, refinancings, dividend recaps both on private and public markets.

Responsibilities:
- Pro-active origination and active dialogue with top tier sponsor clients across Europe to pitch new LBOs
- Review financial and business analysis of LBO targets
- Critical review and assessment of appropriate debt structures and T&Cs for LBO transactions, coordinating with internal counterparties, incl. Syndicate, Rating Advisory, Coverage, and M&A
- Oversee internal approval process, including memos / credit papers and discussion in credit and business committeesPreparation of marketing materials for syndication and placement of leveraged loans and high yield bond
