WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a Library Adviser to join Library, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.
Library Advisers enable clients to find, evaluate and use the most relevant information resources for study, research and teaching. They deliver information support services to a diverse range of Library clients including students, academics and researchers. Library Advisers provide clients with personalised assistance both in person and online, enabling them to find, evaluate and reference high quality information. Library Advisers develop learning resources and prepare and present Library workshops in information literacy and research skills for QUT students and staff, and for school students as part of the Library Schools Program.

Library Advisers may be assigned to a Library Faculty Team where they undertake tasks such as collection development, creation of online resources, and the delivery of workshops and seminars. The position is based within the Library Team supporting the Faculty of Health. When assigned to the Law Library, Library Advisers also provide a legal information service that is delivered in person at the Helpdesk, online and over the phone..
