Description:
As a Library and Learning Services Officer, you will provide seamless frontline service, enriching the student experience and supporting students to achieve their study goals.
The role focuses on providing support to students and staff to access appropriate library resources, provide technical support as a first point of contact and respond to customer enquiries across numerous service channels.
The position will provide support services to Chisholm libraries as required by business operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
- Respond to customer enquiries as a first point of contact across numerous service channels including face to face, email, phone and online
- Respond to and actively problem-solve general customer enquiries about a diverse range of Chisholm services including student support and engagement, enrolment procedures, classroom locations, basic course information, and library information
- Conduct basic library orientation for students
- Provide basic technical support by responding to users’ routine computer requests that are submitted by phone, helpdesk or in person
- Carry out reference interviews and help students to locate appropriate resources for their needs
- Undertake rostered desk duties to facilitate access to information resources available in the Library
