Licensed Electrical Technician

REQUIREMENTS:

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Entry levels are welcomed as training will be provided.
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment while adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to pinpoint electrical issues and apply suitable remedies.
• Inspect electrical components like transformers and circuit breakers to verify functionality and safety.
• Reading and interpreting electrical circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Test electrical systems and circuits for continuity using specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
• Collaborate with peers to identify enhancements in electrical systems and processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and accurate record-keeping.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Work independently without any supervision.
• Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
