Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid 309A Electrical Journeyperson License (Ontario).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work. (3+ Years isn’t necessary but helps)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of modern electrical systems, including automation, smart home devices, and EV chargers.
  • Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Own hand tools, basic power tools and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and lift heavy equipment.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Install, Repair, and Maintain:
  • Electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment for commercial and residential applications.
  • Service upgrades, lighting systems, outlets, switches, and smart home technologies.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
  • Inspect electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure long-term system reliability.
  • Commercial Projects:
  • Work on offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and industrial facilities(REMOVE).
  • Install and maintain transformers, conduit, generators, and advanced electrical systems.
  • Residential Projects:
  • Complete electrical work for new builds, renovations, and custom homes.
  • Integrate modern systems like EV chargers, energy-efficient upgrades, and automation technologies(REMOVE).
  • Safety & Compliance:
  • Adhere to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and company safety protocols.
  • Ensure all work is inspected and ESA-approved as required.
  • Customer Service:
  • Communicate effectively with clients to assess their needs and provide solutions.
  • Educate customers on system functionality and safety features.
