TressMyr Beauty Studio seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Hair Stylist to join our growing team. We specialize in braiding, wig services, and a range of hair styling solutions tailored for diverse hair types.
The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, has hands-on experience with textured and natural hair, and delivers top-notch customer service. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality beauty services while fostering a welcoming environment for all our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, with expertise in braiding, cutting, styling, colouring and wig services (portfolio required).
• Strong understanding of hair care products and techniques for textured and natural hair.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and build trust.
• Ability to confidently promote and upsell salon services and retail products.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

• Offer a variety of hair services including braids, wig installations, natural hair treatments, cuts, and colours based on client preferences.
• Provide professional advice on hair care, styles, and maintenance specific to textured hair and protective styling.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace by strictly following salon sanitation protocols.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure an exceptional salon experience.
• Promote and upsell salon products and services to improve the client experience and boost retail sales.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities, including appointment scheduling, maintaining client records, and processing payments as required.
• Stay updated on trends in braiding, wigs, and hairstyling techniques to inform clients of the latest styles.
• Build long-term client relationships through consistent, high-quality service and effective communication.
