Description:

Novant Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to cover the 5th floor clinics which includes Breast, GYN Onc, Risk and Genetics and Integrative Medicine. This LPN will perform port sticks as well as peripheral sticks. The Licensed Practical Nurse accepts accountability for provision of care, as part of the RN led team, in accordance with the current policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited practical nursing program, required.
- Experience: One year of experience in area of specialty, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current LPN licensure in appropriate state, required.
- Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age.
