How you make a difference:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works with the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Medical Director to provide comprehensive, on- and off-site clinical services to members enrolled in the MAT program. They provide medical and support services, including injections, lab coordination, pharmacy coordination, teaching wellness classes, taking vitals, and coordinating with psychiatric and medical providers to ensure appropriate medical care for MAT program participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategic planning, resource management, and process improvement across service groupings.
- Oversees the implementation of active treatment and nursing care for patients.
- Manages staffing levels, establishes cost control programs, and implements new programs/services.
- Establishes quality measures and standards for continuous quality improvement.
- Develops, maintains, and communicates departmental policies, procedures, and practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
Licenses/Certifications
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
Additional Details : This position is 8 hours on weekends only, split between Saturday and Sunday mornings (8AM - 12PM). Main focus is morning MAT medication pass. WEEKEND SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS (6AM - 6PM) Saturday & Sunday: $4/hour
