What you’ll do here:

  • Perform screening assessment including but not limited to safety assessments, Medication Questionaire, Screening Questionnaire, Weight & Height Assessments, Vital Signs, ECGs, Blood Collection and Urine Collection; all in accordance with protocol, SOPs and GCP/GDP regulations.
  • Monitor, document and/or follow-up on participant adverse events;
  • Maintain and advocate a high level of customer service, quality and safety within the department.
  • Explain the informed consent, rules and regulations and answer volunteer’s questions.
  • Perform Sorting, Processing and Shipping of biomedical samples for pick-up to the Clinical Safety Laboratory;
  • Ensure that the inventory of materials required for screening sessions is adequate.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.
  • Proactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to departmental supervisors and managers;
  • Continuously assess safety improvement opportunities and communicate to departmental management.
  • Ensure that the inventory of materials required for screening sessions is adequate.
  • Perform sorting, processing and shipping of biomedical samples for pick-up.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • DEP in Health, assistance and nursing (Nursing Assistant);
  • Licensed practical nurse registered and member in good standing with the OIIAQ (Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec);
  • Bilingualism is required (French and English);
  • Ability to explain inform consent forms in front of a group (in French or/and in English);
  • Ability to respond to medical emergencies.
  • Customer Service focused
  • Ability to work under stress with accuracy.

What we offer:

  • Day shift: Candidates must be available between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.;
  • Available to work every other Saturday (sometimes Sunday).
  • Willing to work occasional overtime.
