JOB DESCRIPTION

This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and challenging environment. The Licensing and Regulatory Manager will be part of the Chief Administrative Office - Licensing and Regulatory Management (LRM) Team. The role and the team is an integral member of the Corporate organization that provides robust oversight on regulatory changes, and is responsible for renewing licenses & permits, and adherence monitoring to regulatory reportorial requirements. This role will be part of the Philippine Fixed Asset Management (“PFAM”) who is responsible for centralized control, monitoring and recording of all fixed assets. Responsible to perform the accounting processes that track Fixed Assets for the purpose of financial reporting, government compliance, and risk management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Requires bachelor Degree, or 5+ years of equivalent work experience related in fixed asset management and asset inventory management in a BPO environment.
  • Knowledge on Local Regulatory affairs and vendor/supplier relationship management
  • Prior project management skills is an advantage
  • Previous experience on any of the following Access Database, Tableau, Alteryx, and Sharepoint Site Administration
  • Requires superior written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, and time management skills
  • High energy level and sense of urgency
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform with ambiguous and/or changing direction/flexibility a must
  • Ability to learn processes and technology quickly; team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in securing and renewing permits, accreditations, registrations and licenses from the Local Government Unit, Bureau of Customs, Department Environment and Natural Resources, National Telecommunication Commission, and other permits from various Philippine government agencies
  • Act as the relationship manager for local regulators and industry contacts
  • Execute process changes and adapt to regulatory change requirements
  • Strict implementation of Fixed Asset Management policies and procedure to ensure compliance to all applicable laws/regulations in the Philippines and firm policies and guidelines;
  • Responsible in generating reports based on the data/information coming from the company’s Fixed Asset Database and corporate stakeholders
  • In charge of records management including maintaining a filing system of accountable/auditable forms
  • Provide guidance and support on regulatory gatekeeping and reporting for critical site and business strategy-related projects
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal Corporate Groups and Lines of Businesses, as well as with external stakeholder outside the firm
  • Recommend adjustments and improvements to departmental and team procedures and applicable system enhancement
  • Demonstrate familiarity and competence with departmental procedures and applicable tools/systems
