THE JOB AT A GLANCE
Carbon Health is looking for a forward-thinking healthcare Licensing Associate to join our growing HQ Legal Team. This role will research, prepare and submit applications related to healthcare clinic site licensing in the US and partner cross-functionally as needed to ensure the successful issuance of required operational licenses and permits.
The ideal candidate will also have strong communication (English) and interpersonal skills (aka “soft skills”) and a passion for leveraging scalable, flexible, and adaptable internal tools and frameworks that support the fast-paced growth and sometimes unpredictable needs of our business and the local government agencies that govern related licensing and permits compliance of healthcare clinics facilities while maintaining Carbon Health’s high standards of integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Research clinic healthcare-facility license requirements of the issuing authority or agency
- Prepare the required license application (e.g., medical waste generator permit, X-ray registration, healthcare facility license, etc.)
- Work cross-functionally as needed to meet related deadlines for filing and issuance of required licenses
- Manage tasks and communication within internal licensing-management tools
