PAY DETAILS: The standard pay range for this role is $70,000-$75,000 annually.
The pay will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Travel is minimal, some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

BSN SPORTS is currently seeking a Licensing Manager to join our growing team at our Farmers Branch, TX headquarters. The role will serve as a key point of contact for Collegiate Select sales teammates, cross-functional marketing, innovation and enablement teams and BSN Sales Professionals. It will require an individual who is self-motivated, passionate about customer service, can effectively lead a team of motivated individuals and is detail oriented to produce high-quality results. Key business objectives will be centered largely around management of a team of Licensing Specialists, achieving service levels as set forth by the organization, leading all training activities related to licensing and serving as an in-house expert for any cross-functional project needs.
The Licensing Manager will report to the Director of Licensing in and will be a critical role in the company’s growth strategy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of (3) three years of progressive work experience in relevant field
  • Experience working with sales teams preferred
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence customers
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple initiatives at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be passionate and driven to manage a team of individuals
  • Knowledge and appreciation of Collegiate Licensing requirements a plus
  • Experience working with or in Collegiate Campus environments a plus

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible for leading training/enablement of all internal teams and field sales teammates
  • Lead the annual development, maintenance, and updates to learning materials embedded within BSN’s learning management software
  • Effectively manage the Licensing Specialist team; responsible for artwork submissions, including but not limited to times of high demand
  • Develop documentation of training materials for internal team members to ensure business continuity during team absences or teammate departures
  • Lead the Licensing Specialist team to meet key objectives and metrics through disciplined performance management of each teammate
  • Proactively seek opportunities to host trademark licensing educational sessions with individual sales team members or entire sales teams as well as other BSN internal stakeholders
  • Empower others to identify areas of improvement and then coordinate project-based work during slow sales cycles
  • Participate and engage in special projects focused on licensing team efficiencies and effectiveness
