Purves Redmond Limited (PRL) is an innovative and entrepreneurial insurance brokerage and employees benefits consulting firm based in Toronto with offices in Vancouver, Calgary, and Montreal.
We have an exciting opportunity in our growing Toronto office for a Licensing & Operations Support Specialist within our Operations Team.

Responsibilities:

THE KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION ARE:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the licensing process for staff, including new applications, license changes and renewals.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted to regulators in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies and external partners to facilitate the licensing process.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of licenses and certifications for all brokers.
  • Monitor and track compliance of licensing regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including HR, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment on licensing and compliance requirements and adherence to guidelines.
  • Stay informed on regulatory requirements and updates pertaining to broker licensing.
  • Assist in the day-to-day administrative function of the Operations team including, preparation of reports and presentations related to licensing, insurer relations and compliance.
  • Administration and tracking of contract documents of insurers and external third-party agreements.
  • Coordination and scheduling of Insurer presentations, meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist with the development and coordination of training sessions and materials for the operations and compliance team.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by Operations and Legal and Compliance team.
