Job Description

As a member of the Global Technical Support Team at Miltenyi Biotec, you would have the opportunity to provide expert-level technical support for our product portfolio, deliver product training, and support products during their lifecycle. Due to the nature of our client base, this position requires excellent English and French skills.

  • You provide technical support to colleagues worldwide (sales, support, and service), distributors, and customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to respond to queries, provide application support, and investigate and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • You meticulously document your support activities and collate, analyze, and communicate the data required for the analysis of product performance.
  • You work with other departments to handle complaints. Your role will include managing and maintaining our product knowledge database.
  • From time to time, you may also be called upon to provide on-site support during customer demonstrations, instrument installations, or troubleshooting.
  • Finally, you create, manage, and deliver product training in-house and in the field worldwide. You support products by working with marketing, R&D, and production during all stages of the product lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You hold an academic degree (Master’s or PhD) in natural science (biology, biotechnology, or medicine), engineering, or a comparable scientific qualification.
  • It is essential to have proven experience in different biological fields, such as cell biology, immunology, hematology, neurology, or stem cells. Experience in flow cytometry, cell culture, functional assays, transfusion medicine, or cell processing is an advantage.
  • You are a strong communicator in English and French, able to discuss technical issues and convince stakeholders via written and oral presentations.
  • You have a strong service-oriented mindset and are skilled in serving customers.
