Description:
Do you want to make a difference working to assist the lives of the elderly, building relationships and connections in a rewarding community?
AS THE LIFESTYLE TEAM LEADER, YOU WILL BE:
- Supporting a team with 8 direct reports (mix of casual and permanent staff)
- Implementing and delivering lifestyle programs and social calendars
- Assessing and individualising lifestyle plans and social needs for our residents
- Leading and developing a small team of Lifestyle Assistants and Volunteers
- Developing a wide range of activities in consultation with residents and family members
- Engaging with community groups to build a network of support and social partners
- Identifying new and meaningful events to keep our residents engaged
- Promoting our Better Together model and values of Bold, Warm and Honest
About you:
- A warm, enthusiastic and creative individual
- Strong experience in Aged Care
- Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 3-5 years’ experience working as a Lifestyle Assistant or Team Leader
- Qualifications in Lifestyle and Leisure or Diversion Therapy
- A person-centred focus and commitment to providing a high level of service
- Experience working with people living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s highly regarded
- Computer and documentation skills
- Availability to work full time Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm starting mid-September 2024
- Current NDIS check highly regarded
