VIB Technologies encompasses 12 state-of-the-art core facilities, each with a specific technology focus, plus a dedicated Tech Watch team and a Technology Training unit. Spanning across Leuven, Ghent, Brussels, and Antwerp, our facilities house a team of over 100 staff members.
The VIB Bioimaging Core plans to strengthen the team in Leuven with a motivated Microscopy Senior Core Facility Technician. The VIB BioImaging Core supports both light and electron microscopy to answer complex biological questions - https://bioimagingcore-leuven.sites.vib.be/en. The staff is the heart of the facility, and the experts consult, train, and collaborate with users on experimental design, image acquisition, and image analysis. The focus of the responsibilities of the new Technician is to provide advanced light microscopy expertise to our user community.
