a day in the life
In this role, you will lead the Global lululemon Intelligence Center (LINC) team, comprised of multidisciplinary specialists who will utilize and enhance a suite of advanced tools to collate and analyze information from various sources. You will oversee the identification of emerging security issues, risk trend analysis, and the implementation of enterprise threat intelligence monitoring in close coordination with lululemon’s fraud specialists, Organized Retail Crime (ORC) managers, and Field Partners.
Additionally, you will support our top high-risk stores through the ORC support model and be a key partner for Store Development, Openings and Optimizations, and Store Facilities. This role will be essential in the safety ecosystem created to keep our stores, educators, and guests safe.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with the development and implementation of brand and reputational monitoring by identifying and acquiring media scanning and social listening technologies and training the intelligence team on their effective use. This may require close coordination with lululemon’s corporate security, Omni Risk, Brand Protection, and Brand teams. You will promote the importance of educator and guest safety and how we support in achieving our goal of creating the safest workplace in retail.

Furthermore, you will support major investigations by providing actionable intelligence gathered through OSINT or other established intelligence disciplines (e.g., CYBINT, HUMINT, FININT). Your work will ensure timely and accurate intelligence for managing brand and reputational risks.

  • Build and execute a Global vision that looks into the future of a complex and important business unit.
  • Drive support with our stores through virtual engagement, store checks, H&S walkthroughs and ORC/Theft support.
  • Live into agility and adaptation while leading/managing a complex portfolio that will include:
  • A global remote monitoring function
  • NAM Organized retail crime and investigation support
  • Data and Crime trend reports
  • Cross functional Investigations - People Practices, People & Culture Business Partners, Asset Protection
  • Lead and manage a team of Specialists (both in-house and contract) forming a global group dedicated to gathering intelligence and reducing risk to the business.
  • Support key functions such as store development, openings and optimizations and store facilities with risk reporting, remote monitoring and virtual support.
  • Spearhead the strategic development, implementation and operation of projects and initiatives that moves the LINC into the future
  • Drive savings through remote monitoring, impacting the growth and expansion of our North America and International business units
  • Provide leadership and guidance to key business partners

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5-7 years Related Experience in Investigations and OSINT/SOCMINT
  • Experience with speciality retail, and are familiar with store operations and safety/AP programs
  • Strong understanding of the social listening, media scanning, compliance research, and OSINT/SOCMINT software landscape
  • Experience working in a diverse, fast moving, multinational corporate environment
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Sound judgement & ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively cross-functionally
  • Ability to influence in the absence of direct lines of authority over others
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to competently juggle numerous competing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $107,500-$141,100 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
