JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly. Your expertise in food preparation and safety will contribute to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a line cook is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling food and equipment.
