JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly. Your expertise in food preparation and safety will contribute to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in the food industry or as a line cook is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling food and equipment.
