Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
B&D Doors are currently recruiting a Christchurch based Line Haul Driver to commence with us on a full-time basis transporting and delivering garage doors. This role will see you working 50–60 hours per week, with the truck route starting at our Christchurch site and working between Invercargill and Whangarei.
We require an effective and capable driver that can ensure the timely, accurate delivery of customer requirements within your driving hours. This is a hands-on driving role, and you are the face of our business, visiting a number of our customers on a weekly basis.
The role is fundamentally responsible for the day to day national deliveries and can require the driver to be on the road for a maximum of 4-5 nights per week. It won’t be uncomfortable though as you’ll be driving high end European equipment!
Day to day will see you:
- Manual handling
- Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained
- Loading and unloading product
- Driving vehicle in order to transport materials to and from specified destinations in an orderly and timely manner whilst being compliant to the conditions of your license
To be successful in this role you
