Oversees and directs the work of Packagers to ensure production is executed efficiently with a high quality product and minimal waste.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists the Production Manager with planning of production runs and the deployment of people and resources.
- Responsible for the operation and pace of Line partnering with QA, Maintenance Mechanic and Packagers.
- Completes batch record documentation correctly with emphasis on proper issuance of drug product and packaging components, in-process requirements and reconciliation procedures.
- Monitors the Quality of product by completing the In-Process Tests throughout the production run and
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within packaging in a GMP environment
- Supervision or lead experience would be considered an asset
- Mathematical and analytical skills needed to complete required documentation in a thorough and accurate manner.
- Precision and high attention to detail required completing In-Process Tests, monitor production lines, review and complete documentation, etc.
- Machine operating and assembly line experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical or food packing industry).
- Effective interpersonal/communication skills to work in a team environment.
Night Shift Schedule
Sunday 10:15PM to 7:15AM, Monday -Thursday 11:30PM to 7:15AM
