Our client is looking for a Technical Support Specialist. You will collaborate with the R&D team and customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. You will play a key role in maintaining both internal and customer-hosted systems, ensuring their continuous operation and handling system updates, patches, and installations.
The company’s platform extracts, processes, and transforms large data volumes into actionable insights. Whether it’s for billing, fraud detection, or general reporting, the platform is designed to meet the evolving needs of telecommunication operators. It offers real-time data extraction, powered by a robust data warehouse and aggregation engine, all presented in an intuitive user interface.

KEY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
You must have all of the following experience and competencies, which must be evidenced in your CV:
- Proficient in SQL and Oracle databases.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Expertise in network security, VPNs, and data transfer protocols (e.g., FTP, SFTP, SCP).
VALUABLE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
The following experience and proficiency will make you stand out, and must be evidenced in your CV:
- Experience in the telecommunications or ICT sector.
- Knowledge of business support systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of new systems (Linux OS, Oracle DB, and the application platform).
- Set up and configure standby/backup solutions, secure network configurations (e.g., Firewalls, VPNs, SFTP).
- Apply software patches and test new system functionalities.
- Investigate and resolve performance issues and security settings, particularly in Linux systems.
- Provide Oracle database administration services.
- Monitor alarm consoles and take action when necessary.
