Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Liquor Store Associate (we like to call you a Customer Service Representative) at our Yates Liquor Store located at 765 Yates St Victoria, BC V8W 1L6. This is a permanent part-time role providing 8 - 24 hours each week. Our ideal candidates would be open to a flexible schedule and will be available for both opening and closing shifts mostly during the weekends.

  • Always look for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite.
  • Good with numbers; handling cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.
  • Process till transactions, accurate and efficient; including cash, credit and debit transactions and gift card activations.
  • Uses their product knowledge to assist customers and answer questions.
  • Looks out for their safety and the safety of others.
  • Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate.
  • Able to be on their feet nearly all of their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 40 pounds).
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
  • Serving it right certificate required in advance of starting.

Responsibilities:

Besides working with the best group of teammates and fantastic customers, you’ll be stocking the store, processing till transactions, and generally ensuring our customers & members are taken care of, and the location is clean and safe.
