DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Liquor Store Clerk 1, you will be responsible for engaging in customer service, operating a computerized cash register to complete sales, unloading shipments, stocking shelves, assembling displays, and cleaning the store. Care must be exercised to avoid selling merchandise to persons who are prohibited by law from purchasing alcoholic beverages. Work includes receiving wholesale customer orders, assembling and packing cases per customer order, and loading customer orders into vehicles.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- No minimum experience and training required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
