POSITION(S) I AM APPLYING FOR
Litigation Attorney - Washington, D.C.
Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Washington, DC office for a Litigation attorney with eight to twelve years of commercial litigation experience. This position entails managing all phases of litigation and includes constant client interaction. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.
- Experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation, including contract and business disputes, and white-collar defense.
- Significant first-chair trial experience required.
- Clerkship experience preferred.
- Large law firm experience is preferred, but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
